I'm a Chicago-based user experience researcher trained as a social scientist (Ph.D. in experimental psychology) and ninja—of sorts. By day, I work as a researcher for Bold Insight, a fast-growing full-service UX and human factors research agency. By night, I read and write, contribute to academic research in psychology and neuroscience, volunteer for www.rollthesame.org, play video games, or watch some form of TV entertainment with my boyfriend and cat. Last but not least, I spend much of my free time training and competing as a purple belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu at Serafin BJJ in Evanston, IL. My friends and family call me Brad.
